Our approach to sustainability is multi-faceted and seeks to achieve results through partnership and progress.

There is of course always work to do relating to Sustainability. We are always looking to minimise our ecological footprint and drive the industry forward responsibly and sustainably.

Our Sustainability Policy outlines the key principles that guide our efforts towards a more sustainable future.

Sustainable Workplace

At Kuoni Tumlare, social responsibility begins at home with our people. We are an equal opportunity employer and we foster a safe, inclusive, workplace backed by wellbeing initiatives and employee‑led community projects.

We also embrace flexible and hybrid working arrangements to reduce commuting and office footprint, and digitisation to minimise paper usage and travel.

Partnership & Collaboration

Partnerships are at the heart of our operations, uniting suppliers, clients, and destinations to drive real change.

Our Supplier Code of Conduct sets high standards for guest experience, employee welfare, and community impact, grounded in shared values of equality, respect, and responsibility.

Working with Switzerland Tourism and other key partners, we champion low‑impact train travel, cycling tours, incentive trips, and educational journeys and more, reducing our ecological footprint and promoting green options.

Community Outreach

Our Sustainability Champions Network, driven by colleagues from our local offices, plans community programmes tailored to each location. As ambassadors, they drive our sustainability strategy and lead flagship events across our annual sustainability calendar—supporting food banks, running donation drives, partnering with charities, and taking part in litter‑picks.

As part of the JTB Group, we also contribute to the global Brighter Earth project, bringing employees and partners together for environmental action, from beach clean‑ups and community volunteering to ecological conservation.

Our Commitment

Our commitment to sustainable tourism is strengthened through collaboration with leading global partners. We’re proud to work alongside global partners who share our vision for responsible tourism—protecting destinations and enriching communities together.
